Aggie Pen Pals
The Arizona Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom Program lines up classrooms with local farmers, ranchers, and dairymen to correspond throughout the year. Some pen pal programs even conclude the year with a visit their farmer, rancher, or dairymen’s operation!
Students write to their pen pal and ask questions regarding agriculture and their operation. The farmer, rancher, dairymen responds in a single letter addressing questions from the students and explaining what is currently happening on their operation. Some farmers, ranchers, dairymen will even visit their pen pal classroom throughout the year!
